Why this exists

Useful math for real prints.

MakerPrintTools is a focused set of free calculators for personal makers and small 3D printing operations.

Our approach

A slicer gives you valuable estimates, but decisions about cost, remaining filament, flow limits, scale, and shrinkage often need one more calculation. We turn those calculations into tools that work in a browser, require no account, and explain their assumptions.

Designed for practical use

Every calculator is built around a distinct question. Inputs include units and sensible validation. Results include the formula or a useful breakdown so you can check whether an answer makes sense for your setup.

Important: Results are estimates. Material properties, printer calibration, ambient conditions, slicer behavior, and measurement accuracy can change real outcomes. Test critical parts.

What we do not do

We do not invent live material prices, depend on a database of rapidly aging printer specifications, or create duplicate pages for every filament name. You provide the values that vary in your shop; the calculator handles the math.
