3D Print Profit Margin Calculator

Audit an existing selling price instead of solving for a target price, so you can see what each order actually leaves behind.

Inputs

How the calculation works

Net profit = sale price − fee − production cost − fixed order cost. Margin = net profit ÷ sale price.

How to use this result

Margin and markup are not interchangeable: margin divides profit by selling price, while markup divides profit by cost basis. Keep tax, shipping, advertising, and royalties in the relevant cost inputs before relying on the result.

Example

A price that looks generous before fees can have a much smaller net margin after payment and order costs.
