Print cost
Batch Print Cost Calculator
Separate one-time setup from repeatable unit cost when you are filling a plate or producing a small run.
How the calculation works
Required attempts = good units ÷ (1 − failure rate); batch total = setup + required attempts × variable cost.
How to use this result
This is a unit-production estimate, not a plate-layout optimizer. Use a measured per-attempt cost, and include shared setup only once so the result shows why a larger run can lower the cost per good unit.
Example
A 12-unit run with a small expected failure rate needs slightly more than 12 attempts to deliver 12 good parts.
