Layer Count Calculator
Check layer count for a model and see how the first layer affects the total.
How the calculation works
Layers = 1 first layer + ceiling((model height − first-layer height) ÷ regular layer height). The slicer may slightly adjust the final layers.
How to use this result
This is a geometric estimate, not a time estimate. Adaptive layers, variable layer height, raft layers, top-surface adjustments, and slicer rounding can change the actual G-code count.
Example
A 50 mm model with a 0.24 mm first layer and 0.20 mm regular layers needs about 250 layers after rounding up.
