How the calculation works
Adjusted resin = slicer volume × (1 + waste allowance). Cost = adjusted resin ÷ bottle volume × bottle price.
How to use this result
Slicer volume should include supports. Waste allowance can cover resin left on the build plate and model, filtering loss, spills, and unusable residue—but not failed prints unless you deliberately include them.
Example
A 65 ml supported model with 10% handling allowance consumes an estimated 71.5 ml from the bottle.
